Visiting Seville in summer can be an unforgettable experience. During the summer months many activities are organized throughout the city and, along with the many other attractions, they are a great reason to make Seville your holiday destination.

To make the most of your trip to the Andalusia capital you will need plan your visit well.

  1. An early start makes all the difference
    What would a visit to Seville be without stopping to see its famous monuments? The Cathedral, the Alcazar, the Archive of the Indies, The Torre del Oro, the Giralda or the Plaza de España are a few places you won’t want to miss. The best time to visit is early in the morning or in the late evening, since the heat is less intense at these times.
  2. Stay cool
    Later in the day, if you fancy a splash, head to one of the city’s water parks such as Agua Mágica or Aquopolis. What better way to stay cool than to speed down a water slide?
    If you prefer something a bit more relaxed, you could always take a dip at the hotel pool or even take a trip to one of Andalusia’s beaches, since they’re not too far from the capital.

    During summer evenings the city is filled with life and there are many activities organized throughout the city. You can enjoy some outdoor cinema at Maria Luisa Park or at the City Council, making the most of the evening breeze while enjoying a good film. There are also numerous concerts, plays and shows in palaces and parks throughout Seville.
    Another worthy evening visit is the Royal Alcazar with its dramatized tours. They are 75 minutes long and you will learn all the legends surrounding one of the oldest palaces in use.
